How to Play

  1. Select difficulty - Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard mode
  2. Choose target sound - Pick which sound you'll listen for (e.g., BEEP, BOOP, DING, BUZZ)
  3. Listen carefully - You'll hear a sequence of different sounds at random intervals
  4. Click when you hear your target - Click the button ONLY when you hear the target sound
  5. Don't click for other sounds - Ignore all non-target sounds (false clicks lose points!)
  6. React quickly - Faster reactions earn speed bonuses

Scoring

  • Correct Click: 10 points + speed bonus (up to 50 points for very fast reactions)
  • False Click: -20 points (clicking on non-target sounds)
  • Missed Target: -10 points (not clicking when target plays)
  • Correct Ignore: 0 points (correctly ignoring non-target sounds)

Difficulty Levels

  • Easy: 2 sounds, 2-3s intervals, 50% target frequency
  • Medium: 3 sounds, 1.5-2.5s intervals, 33% target frequency
  • Hard: 4 sounds, 1-2s intervals, 25% target frequency

Tip: Use headphones for the best experience! Focus on the unique characteristics of each sound - pitch, tone quality, and duration can all help you distinguish the target from distractors.
